  • smoked front lights
  • piano black roof (wrap)
  • piano black mirror caps (wrap)
  • piano black front lower lip (wrap)
  • metal grey wheels

What do you think? Not sure about the black roof.

PS: Any info on Superchips Stage 2??? I have already fitted stage 1, and I am wondering if a stage 2 comes out.

How did you find the stage 1? any good?

Yes I I think it's great. I installed it last May and had no problems so far.

It really pulls from 2nd gear and above, from 2,5k-3k rpm and up to the limiter. Fuel consumption has not changed (minor changes).

In my opinion, best value for money. I was between Mountune MR165 and Superchips, but the price difference pushed me to Superchips.

Im not a fan of the Fiesta Zetec S red and black editions, but that's like the awesome white edition the car seriously suits that look! It looks like the angry little brother of an ST!

  • Author

Yes, it's the angry little brother that I had in mind!!!

Maybe it will be even better in reality...!

I will give some thought to it and maybe go for it... However I don't know anything about changing color on the wheels. (paint?, wrap?, cost?)

For all four wheels (Based on UK pricing that I know of) £170 (£230 if you want a refurb at same time)

Wrap for good quality job done by professionals I'd say about £400

Smoking headlights £50

Might be cheaper in your country or area, this is based on my local garages and Google searches of reputable companies.

I hate the black edition.. Looks like its wearing Lipstick

That will look good mate. I'm not personally huge on black mirrors, but everything else looks spot on.

Thanks Ryan, you've been very helpful. Good to have an idea of the pricing (even though I live in Greece). I'll check the prices!

Not a big fan of the black, too. I think the red looks better! Also not into the total black wheels. That's why I'm thinking of the metal grey, like the ST.

Thanks! I hadn't thought of the black mirrors till yesterday when I saw a red mk7 ZS with piano black caps. I'll think of it! Hope to be able and make all the changes soon. Still, happy with the first impressions written in this topic..!

PS: Anyone on the Stage 2 Superchips rumors?

I have spoken to Superchips about a stage 2 re map and I am awaiting a reply. I have offered my car as a test bed for them to get the map sorted.

You'll need a few mods for the stage 2 though which are a larger intercooler and a full exhaust from the turbo back which will set you back around £1300

Thanks for the update Karl!! I also sent them in September, but had no response.

So, by using the example you gave me, and buying the non-resonated exhaust, it will cost me around £1400 (2000€) + the remap + shipping to my country.... Let's say 2500€-3000€ plus fitting!!

I'll have to think about it! :D :D

It depends on the hp & torque gains!

Thanks again! Please keep us posted!

PS: 1 more question. In the past, someone posted in the forum, in an another topic (unfortunately, I don't remember who did and in which topic), that it is ok from Superchips to fit a cat-back exhaust if you have already fitted the Stage 1 remap. Do you know if it is ok? Do you need to remove the map first and fit it again, after the installation of the exhaust?

Hi

just spoken to Super Chips about a few things and asked this question as I wanted to know if it was ok as I am planning to fit a after market cat and full exhaust system very soon was told that due to lower back pressure (as exhaust will flow better) there is a chance that an over boost light may come on due to the turbo spooling up faster although it really depends on how aggressive you drive and it dose not happen in every case. I think you'll be fine as you are doing a cat back rather than a full exhaust also you dont need to de re the map.

Thanks again Karl! Really helpful.

Let us know, if anything new on Stage 2!

I've just got the Red Edition. It's a real head turner. I'm thinking about a carbon fiber wrap on the roof & having the wheels, mirror caps & interior plastics aqua dipped in carbon too. I like the idea of keeping the look stock but not, if you get what I mean
