2011 Zetec S - Ecu Type & Location

Featured Replies

Hi, this may have already been covered, so apologies if it has.

I am looking to get my Fiesta re-mapped but need to check the ECU type. Superchips has told me that the ecu is located next to the battery and should be clearly labelled with a code that i need to check (EMS????). But i cannot find the ecu or a label on it. Thinking there may be a cover over it.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks, Mike

Hi am also in the same situation, anyone know where this ES number is?

Chris

Hi, have had the below reply from Superchips

" If yours is a UK-spec car with manual transmission, it will be fine. The other engine code relates to automatics that weren’t sold in Europe until the facelift. "

So according them mine should be fine, am guessing yours too

Chris
