1st one might be something to do with the fuel, but I'm not sure.

2nd one is the turbo actuator.

High pressure fuel pump and turbo dump valve.

None of the ecoboosts have a dump valve, they use re-circ valves.

99% sure the second pic is the turbo actuator.

High pressure fuel pump and turbo wate gate actuator

Wee bit of info turbosmart are bringing out a dump valve for the 1.0 ecoboost

WHY! So you can sound like a chav rocking up in your 1L, lol.

Don't get me wrong, the 1L ecoboost is a great engine, but it really doesn't need a BOV.

I wouldn't even want a BOV on my ST....

That could be tricky as the recirc ports are part of turbo and just a small valve opens via vacuum

Yeah wasn't directed at you, but clearly there are people who want it, or they wouldn't make it.

I just don't get it though...

There's a '600cc' (he reckons it's been boared out) smart car near me with a fake dump valve, 8.5j wheels combined with spacers

Also has an exhaust big enough to fit your fist in.. yet I can leave him for dead in my fiesta. Idiot

There's some bellpiece in my area that drives some POS car (never seen - possibly a BMW- but heard on a regular basis) with a dump valve that sounds like an owl hooting.

Total nub.

I'll try get a picture of the smart car.. if you get one of This bellpiece's BMW! Haha

I'll try but he seems to favour the hours of darkness to carry out his noise polluting activities (probably enbarrased to be out in the daytime).

Hahahaha
