This Will Amuse You Vauxhall Haters

Featured Replies

Earlier today, I was removing my tools, the contents of the glovebox, door pockets etc from the Astra, prior to sticking it on ebay/gumtree/accepting the local brokers quote of £27 collected

It started to rain again. I had the tailgate and both front doors open

The dog looked out of the back door, looked up at rain, looked across to the lawn, and then ran up to the open Astra, jumped in, squatted down and deposited a sizeable No.2  Two bags worth!

Haha! Classic

Well, that pretty much sums Vauxhalls up...

doubled the price then.

So even the dog knows there c**p post-38083-0-02483400-1447711454.png

cant fault the dog :D

Traffic Police reportedly pulled over a Chav driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Portsmouth this morning.

They were amazed to find the car was taxed, MOT tested, AND insured.
It wasn’t stolen and there were no stolen goods or drugs found anywhere inside the car.
The driver was sober with a full licence, no points and wasn’t wanted on warrant.
A Police Spokesperson stated: “We had no other option than to fine him £80 for Wasting Police Time.”

Haha!!

Very good

we buy any car com have offered £13, the local breaker Charles Trent; £27, Silverlake; £33 and a not so local breaker Simmonds (Dorset/Somerset border) £41, all collected.

It's a tad odd, the breaker who is furthest offers the most.

another site, removemycar.com, which seems to an auction/sale site for the ATFs, match the Simmonds offer as minimum, and state I could get as much as £160, if I put it up for auction.

If you really want to get money from it, why not part it out? I would never sell a whole car to ANYONE for less than £50.

That's quite a good idea

The engine (an Isuzu rather than a GM lump) would be worth more one it's own than in the car - in theory at least. The battery is a Varta Silver Dynamic one, I only replaced in July. The whole braking system was redone last year.

I've also got quite a quantity of parts anyway to put on ebay, such is my foible for buying parts when I see them: rather than when I need them.

Don't like vauxhalls myself but I have to say the only car I have ever owned for a long period without anything ever going wrong was a 2000 astra 1.6 club, it had done 160k miles and I paid 400 quid for never went wrong . The only vauxhall that has any love from me is my old astra :-)

And then you saw the error of your ways and reverted to the good side...

You do realise that for taking my idea I get a 20% cut in all profits made? ;)

You do realise he is only making 50p from the part sales... Lol

I noticed on my way to the wheelie bin tonight, following 5 days of rain, the sometimes leaking sunroof, and of course being poo'd in/on - mould has appeared in places inside the Astra!

What a shame...

It's not mould as such, its the new owners, the only thing that's likely to want to be inside a Vauxhall

The new owners are a community of both Penicillum and Aspergillus, the former on the upholstery and the latter on the steering wheel and gear gaiter
