laumk7
My sil has a 14 plate focus and to test her car alarm locked her daughter (18 ), in the car and asked her to try the door handle - alarm duly went off So I tried the same in mine (tit x fiesta 15 plate) and nothing happened, am I doing something wrong or is it time to book 'em in again? Minkibiz
It takes a while for the alarm to set, leave it 5-10 min and then try Cheers
MONDEO TXS 2.2
I'm not sure that all Fiestas have the interior volumetric sensors ?

GMX
Mines a top of the range tit x, I'm pretty sure it was in the brochure, my sils car is a zetec focus If you've got a rocker switch your drivers door beyond the pull handle with a symbol of a car on it, you have interior volumetric sensors. If you also have folding mirrors, the lower part of the rocker switch is for your mirrors: the upper part to disarm the volumetric sensors Dogs are great for testing alarms. Borrow one, if you haven't got one of your own. If it doesn't go off with a dog inside, and you're sure you've got them, I'd take it to the dealer and get them to check your alarm system
