Frozen White Paint Match After Car Scaped My Rear Quarter

Featured Replies

Hi guys some idiot decided scape my pride and joy on rear quarter the scuffs I could proberly Polish out but I noticed crack in the paint so will be going through insurance to get repainted my question is is frozen white easy to colour match as had cars painted before even tho they have always been a good job say 99% I've always noticed the blend in or something else but these cars was all metalic

Yes I think it's easy to match. It's a common colour, and not complicated like silver and such. I've recently had a scratch repaired at a local bodyshop and it's seamless.

any good spray shop should be match any colour ,but the match is only as good as the sprayer

I hope so I don't know if it's worth going through insurance or not

I would go and see how much it is first and take it from there

If they're paying I'd go through the insurance unless they're willing to give you the money based on a quote. I was going to go privately when I had a scrape, to be harassed by the person's family telling me I was trying to rip them off based on the quote I gave them.

It was basically £250 for a repair, instead they said go through the insurance which was about £1500 by the time it was all done.

Will get a quote in the morning and take it from there I already informed my insurance company as I think the 3 party will be informing theirs.
