Arch Lining Clips Keep Coming Out Need Help

So I've come across a problem with the left side wheel arch lining clips. One night 2 of them (side skirt and the one behind the wheel) just vanished, I got 2 new ones from ford and installed them however once again they have just come out when I've been driving, Is there an alternative to the ford clips(part number 1738233) to stop them coming out all the time?

    They are the push in ones with a star screw on them

    They do, However i have no idea why they keep coming out hence why i'm confused, The factory ones came out and new ford ones came out, I have no clue

    It would seem they are not catching & locking correctly, maybe try pushing them in harder as you turn - you can feel when they lock

    Or possibly they are too small in diameter ?

    Or whatever they lock into behind the liner is missing or fallen off ?
