Just wondered on the roof at the very end of the weather strips at the boot end, is there some sort of end stop piece. On mine there is about 1/2 inch gap at the end. Looking at the strips I can see the metal piece that runs through the middle, so guess something is missing from the ends. Might explain how water is getting into the rear lights. If anyone can kindly check their weather strip and let me know.

    Had a look at mine and can see the metal end on both strips , not sure about the half inch gap as mine come all the way to the end of the roof if that is what you are meaning. I also have water ingress but only on one side
