Ianb
I'm glad our courts are filled with folks who show common sense.... Yaya Toure escapes driving ban for 101mph speeding offence - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-34998097 One thing I've noticed when I drive is that, if I appear to be going faster than everyone else then either everyone is enjoying a pootle or I'm speeding... The footballer didn't even have the decency to turn up and plead ignorance, he got his solicitor to do it for him! Over paid bunch of sissy w-anchors
MONDEO TXS 2.2
They are everywhere it seems, he should be banned & forced to retake a U.K. driving test - which I'd wager he would fail & as a result the roads would be safer for the rest of us to use. Ianb
My real issue is that if I came on here next month and said I'd got caught doing 101mph, majority of folk would say "you're an idiot" and "play with fire you get burned" etc... And who's to bet that I would rightly get a ban.... Whereas this guy, who surely can afford a chauffeur, gets to go back onto the roads in high powered cars... An example of laws for some!
MONDEO TXS 2.2
Driving in excess of 100 m.p.h. in a 70 m.p.h. zone often carries an automatic ban & rightly so - it seems he's been treated lightly for some reason

How many get banned?... Could be an interesting dissertation topic...
