One thing I've noticed when I drive is that, if I appear to be going faster than everyone else then either everyone is enjoying a pootle or I'm speeding...

The footballer didn't even have the decency to turn up and plead ignorance, he got his solicitor to do it for him!

They are everywhere it seems, he should be banned & forced to retake a U.K. driving test - which I'd wager he would fail & as a result the roads would be safer for the rest of us to use.

My real issue is that if I came on here next month and said I'd got caught doing 101mph, majority of folk would say "you're an idiot" and "play with fire you get burned" etc... And who's to bet that I would rightly get a ban.... Whereas this guy, who surely can afford a chauffeur, gets to go back onto the roads in high powered cars...

Good expensive lawyer, and a big public image, how many 'celebrities' get caught doing over 100? How many get banned?... Could be an interesting dissertation topic...
