Mogwaimarshall Posted December 4, 2015 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Hi all need some advice.i have a 62 plate ford focus ecoboost 1.0. Have an issue now where the blowers have stopped working. First of all 1-3 and then four was working now nothing.so ive googled and was informed it xould be heater resistor pack which i received to day from parts company,managed to find the part on car and plugged it in and still nothing.ive checked the fuses they look ok.none burnt out.i phoned ford and they want 65 quid just to plug in computer. GingerFlame Posted December 15, 2015 Share Posted December 15, 2015 Possible that the blower motor was failing, so caused the resistor pack to fail. The motor may well have failed as a result of being run at full whack whilst failing? As we speak, my fiesta is acting up. Blower was failing, stripped it and lubed it up. New resistor pack and fuses. 1-2-3 fine, 4 pops the 30 amp fuse. Tried a 35 to see what would happen.
