1.4Tdci Throttle Response

Featured Replies

Now, i'm not used to driving diseasals (no they're not my favourite) but since buying the Fusion+ i'm plagued with having to 'search' for acceleration by pumping the throttle pedal until i find the fast spot, kind of annoying to honest.......is something wrong or is it just a baby diesel thing?

Something doesn't sound right to me, I have a Diesel and have driven plenty of other Diesel vehicles, the car I currently own accelerates when I want it to and when I put my foot down instant power.

Sounds like it might be throttle position sensor needing to be set again? It might not be but won't hurt to try.
