jmurray01
And it will look after you. Well, that's the plan anyway! Got up very early this morning to get the Nissan in for an oil change at 08:30 and then it went for a valet at 10:00. 3 hours and £65 later (£35 for oil change and £30 for valet) the Primera is home and looking rather good. Maybe not brand new, but this is how it looked before leaving this morning... That's how a car looks after over 6 weeks and 1,500 miles without a wash, driven primarily on dirty country roads. When I got home I also added some STP oil additive (controversial I know), changed the air filter and put two new Bosch AeroTwin wipers on the front. Also checked the tyre pressures and for the first time in years we have a car that doesn't need weekly tyre inflation!! So, without further a do here are some pictures. Not bad for a 10 year old ex-taxi with 199,700 miles on the clock...

jmurray01
'' Look after your car & it will look after you '' Very good advice indeed :) It has never failed me yet. Although I could do with preemptively buying a new battery in the next couple of months, as it is a little sluggish to start when the headlamps have been on for 5-10 minutes which is below average. You should be able to have your lights on without the engine running for up to an hour without any noticeable power loss.
chrisroberson99
Looking good! Hard to tell it's done that kind of mileage! :) Good choice with the Aerotwins. We have them on 2 of our cars and they're excellent. Looks like the rear wiper might need replacing?

I'll get around to that soon.

I've always replaced my batteries with Varta ones, they seem to Bosch rebranded. Tayna, among others do them, next day delivery before 1pm, as standard

Very eagle-eyed Chris, I had to look twice at the wiper, to see notice that
