Mk6 Radio Replacement

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

im new to the club but i was wondering if any of you could help me out, ive got a 05 Fiesta Zetec and im looking to change my radio to the newer model which will allow me to have an AUX port, ive seen the radios for around £25 on ebay and the AUX kit is £19.99 from fords, i was just wondering if i will need anything else and how much roughly it would cost to get it all fitted

thanks guys

If you get removal keys you could just fit it yourself. Plug and play.

Make sure you get the radio key

thats eaiser then, would i not need to change the surround as ive seen some poeple say you need too?

Are you going from the 3 piece split to double din?

yeah cause the 3 piece doesnt allow AUX atall from what ive read

I believe the higher models Do.

But either way, remove the whole centre console/stereo surround, remove the 3 piece radio.

Cut out the two bars that go across the stereo and surprise! Double din!
