Hid Kits For Mk6 Pre Facelift Fiesta?

Featured Replies

hey guys,

rather than buy new bulbs ive been told to look at HID kits instead. just want to know what peoples opinions are and if you can recommend any kits to me?

thanks guys

Do NOT fit HIDs without bixenon projectors. If you do, your beam pattern will be incorrect and will dazzle oncoming traffic, and you won't be able to see anything. You risk being pulled by the ppolice & it WILL fail an MOT. You'll also look like a chav.

Look on my profile and you'll find a guide on how to fit projectors and HIDs

Thanks for that mate! i wouldn't of known that, it was just an idea someone gave me, so would i need new headlight units e.g the facelift ones? or would i be better just getting better bulbs for now and installing projectors and HID's in the future

You'd need the facelift lights yes. As the projectors won't fit the prefacelift.

Luckily the facelift lights just plug and play at the front. The rear requires rewiring but it's not difficult, I've got a file with diagrams in.

I can convert the facelift headlights for you if you find some

im not to bothered about my rear lights at the minute but its a big help knowing the front are just plug and play mate! might have a see if i can find some for sale second hand rather than pay full price off ford

Definately don't pay £90 a light! Haha

Scrapyards, eBay, gumtree.

First time I paid £90 for all 4 front and rear lights

Second time, after my accident, I paid £30 for a new front left on its own

haha ill check ebay and stuff then incase i drop on but thanks for that mate, been really helpful. would it be worth just changing the bulbs for now?

Possibly, possibly not.

The prefacelift headlights a horrific. When I purchased my replacement car I drove it just over 40 miles, at night. I could see a few metres in front of me and that was it. Horrific
