Typo Fails In A Commercial Setting

I was reminded by James' Poundland "Merry Chritmas and Hapy New Year" of an equally amusing typo, I encountered some years ago, in a M&S store, that was coming to the end of a refit.

My mate was in charge of the refit, and I happened to call in, to see him on another matter. Whilst talking to him, his jaw suddenly dropped with a "WTF" utterance, that bore no relevance, to what we were discussing.

What he was actually referring to was one of the signs that was behind me, directing customers to the various sales departments, on the upper floor.

Where it should have said "Casual Shirts and Trousers": it actually said "Casual Shitts and Trousers". :lol: :lol: It had been there for a couple of days, no-one had noticed the typo, up until then!
