OK a few months ago i went to ford to try and order a heater surround with the square panel.

I wanted the Gloss black one as I have the silver one,i have sprayed one black and ok but

not 100%

They said they take the order off the car Reg as then it's the colour of the one in the car so

that's no good as i would have silver again.

If i gave them the Reg of a Fiesta Metal would i get the gloss black one with the little square panel

and take my silver one in to show them the part I want as it's not refundable once paid.

Just scout around for a car with the trim in the spec you want and give that VRN to the Parts counter.

Sent him the FINIS number we think it is

Got a fiesta METAL saved for the reg on ebay and then i will take the spare surround i

have to ford for the part numbers off the 2 bits i want and what Ginger flame' sent me.

This might be a strange thing to ask but is the Fiesta Metal just a limited edition Zetec-S.

I ask this as when I go on Edis it just says 2008-2012 Zetec-S on 3 fiesta metal reg I put in.

Its only to get the Black heater surround but must me on the car as standard and only the Metal

as the Piano Black surround (I think) in the pre-facelift.

Yes they are the complete unit, about £25 each.

DMB do some overlay rings for them which I had while my local parts dept sourced them, took a while to get hold of them.

I did think that,so heater surround and the square bit above it then,looked at the steering wheel

but I have to get the one with cruise control cut out and don't know how hard they are to fit.

Just a bit of little mods,

The steering wheel trim is only available with the wheel and buttons etc, so about £150, I've just wrapped mine, it's ok except where I cut the switch holes out, might get it redone by a pro.

I see,might look at the door handle covers.

Had a look on YouTube at a few vids to fit stuff so will have a mad order job on a few stuff.
