I've got a Ford Fiesta Zetec mk6 08. Wanting some advice/help!

Welcome to the site Becky!

It wont make the exhaust louder as it is completely separate from the air intake. You will hear the air induction (intake) noise from the filter though which sounds good. I have a K&N on my Focus Zetec S. It will give a very slight increase in power but the sound is the best bit!:)

Welcome along Becky, as above, just get a really nice whooshing sound, which sounds mint if you have a turbo as well

That's great thank you for all your help:). Will I still have the noise coming from the exhaust as well as the induction kit noise? Also a there anything I can do to my exhaust to make it sound even more louder? Many thanks once again:)

Yes you will have the sound from both as they are completely separate. The only thing to do to make the exhaust louder would be to try a different one or have the middle silencer box removed and a pipe welded in its place. Your back box and new induction filter should give a nice sound without it being annoying on the motorway. Loud exhausts give an annoying drone when cruising along at 70 and will also be more likely to get you pulled by the police.

That's great:), I've only had the sportex a few month but wanting it slightly deeper & more of a popping, hoping to add a bodykit sometime this year to make the car stand out more

See what you think with the filter fitted, you have to give it a bit of hard acceleration to get the best noise out of it. They sound fairly quiet otherwise. Im not telling you to go speeding, just to accelerate harder upto the speed limit!;)

I take it youre not a typical girl then Becky, most are not into cars at all never mind modifying them!

It looks like it could do with being lowered a bit too, nice car though.

I've not been able to give it that much power, I had to have a Black box fitted to get my insurance down, so hopefully when it's out in 5months time I'll be able to get the full effect of the induction & exhaust. No not the typical girl lol I love cars and the sounds along with the modifications. I'm always looking at new ways to make mine stand out more, I have no clue with the lowering of the car although I'd love to have it done & have been thinking about it I no nothing about it lol, what would be the best springs to have it lowered? And the amount of lowness the car would need (if that makes sense lol)

I like Eibach lowering springs as they are Ford approved. I would go with a 35-40mm drop so it is still driveable without any wheel arch scuffing on the tyres or the underside of the car scraping on speedbumps. Expect to pay as much for fitting though as the actual spring kit. I paid a Ford mechanic £80 as a foreigner to do my last car. I suppose the black box is a good idea really. Make sure your insurance know about all your mods though as they will invalidate your policy for non disclosure in the event of a claim which can leave you in real trouble. Have a look through the Fiesta forum, there should be useful information there for you. :)

Hi,

When your insurance is up for renewal please feel free to give us a try. If you wanted to PM me some contact details nearer the time I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.

Regards,

Dan.
