First Day Using The Dash Cam...

Featured Replies

I hooked up the dash camera kindly sent to me by James (jeebowhite) today and within 30 minutes it recorded a bad driver, and it could only be one brand of vehicle, naturally...

It's far from the worst I've seen, but still worthy of posting to give you a taste of the Vauxhall drivers in North-East Scotland.

I still need to fine-tune the angle of the camera I think, but due to the sloped windscreen and high dash of the Primera (thanks to the central instrument cluster) it is difficult to get a good angle. This one is sufficient though. Oh, and the date/time needs set too - but being the lazy bugger I am I will do that tomorrow.

P.S. Excuse my language, I meant to mute the audio but forgot!

It's just lucky we don't have alloys, because mounting that curb would have caused damage if we had and then I really would have been furious.

Indeed, that's a downside to alloys when there are idiots ahead who force you into the curb

Had that the other week, had a 4x4 driving AT me, at speed! at the end of the local back lanes where they turn into housing areas (not estates not nearly enough houses) had to curb the car to save being run off the road I was livid! Thankfully my alloys lived to see another day as the scuff was extremely minor and transfers from the curb scrubbed off
