Heat Resistor

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've got a 2015 Ford Fiesta and have spoken to Ford directly - apparently there is a common fault on new Fiesta's for the heat resistor (I.e - you can only select #4 on the heating options and 1-3 does not work!)

Has anybody else experienced this yet?

I spoke to Ford yesterday and they'd already had 10 phones calls since Monday!

Let me know if you've encountered any problems or fixes please people as they've told me they can't see me for another 20 days!

Cheers,

Connor

Are there any other dealers you can try?

A heater resistor really shouldn't take long to change

I'm gonna go in today & ask someone to have a look.. They reckon there's no appointments locally for 20 days though...

5 mins to change a heater resistor if that.

Its a common fault on all of the fiestas, not just new ones.

Vauxhall safiras seem to be having worse luck though.. :D :lol::lol:
