who has roof bars? mainly Thule ones and how well do they work? the clamp on the 5 door MK7 looks a little flimsy, were getting the Thule kit tomorrow with the wing bar rapid systems 754 & 1505.

Our old Thule roof bars we had on our Mazda3 are to short for the Fiesta? DAMMMM got to buy the whole new set.

    don't think there is anything to worry about quality wise

    yes got the same as you, the measurement between the bars front and rear seems a little small? i may open the gap slightly, maybe move the front one forward by a inch and the back one back slightly?

    I've kept the spacing as recommended the only reason I can see changing it is if the accessory your fitting requires different spacing. You'd hope the manufacturer knows the best spacing for there product
