can this really give 35% more power, 25% torque, and better fuel economy?

or is it just crap

i would not want to try one it may screw your car up :)

a proper remap can cost upwards £300 and this is only a tenner. mmmmmmmmmmm

I wouldnt go anywhere near item. Could damage your cars ecu and it fits most cars when most car run differently

Dont risk it

as they say 'if its too good to be true then it generally is'

thx guys, feel sorry for the ppl buying it then

LOL  All the snake oil type products, all manage to quote without fail, like a mantra, "35% more power, 25% torque, and better fuel economy"!

if you open up the ecu housing you will find just a 50p resistor inside lol

or drive with no socks on , the weight reduction will give a similar performance increase ;-)

i think i will stick with the socks :)

They had something similar on fifth gear a while back about fuel saving gadgets. They tested about 5 different fuel saving gismos and they were all s***.

I remember one being a plugin to the car cigarette lighter socket while could save fuel and all it did was light up an led and that was it.

Just reminded me when i was reading this page.

link above is that video on youtube.

i think i will stick with the socks :)

i have driven in my pajamas hahaha :-)

How have they sold 223 of those!?

It probably will give you a power increase, but only by chucking more fuel in all the time which gives more smoke and causes more wear on fuelling and engine components...and it won't be 35% increase lol. Proper remap is the way to go! :)

Thing is Tom, it cant do it, it cant do anything, the OBD port is hard enough to read and write to the ECU let alone changing Coms on the fly between the sensors, ECU and injectors etc.

in fact I watched a video where some chap dismantled one and they had etched off the codes on the micro processor inside, so they had it checked it with some impressive xray type machine, the chip just turned the lights on and made them blink a little, at best this is a light modification, at worst it will bugger up coms resulting in all sorts of problems.

Change the ECU or man in the middle interception is the only way to do it.

That's a good point, I was thinking it worked the same as a tuning box. You're totally right now I think about it though!!

There must be 223 very dissapointed customers . . .

and I was going to get one :D

they cost about $1 a piece to buy from china, 900% markup.

10 quid a pop, 223 transactions, £2230 Gross

Cost $223 = £150 quid

£2080 quid

minus shipping, snail mail second class, call it another £1 per item

£1930

theres ebay charges to come off that as well but you can bet your bottom that this chap sells more than one item like this

Posted in November, didn't reall take off until late November so call it 2 Months of trading

£1000 a month profit

cheeky sod

Where's there's muck there's brass . . . . . & this device sure is muck aka crap . . . :(

wonder how many motors it screw up

224 now - read the small print at the bottom of tha ad page - which basically says this thing does nothing - but we knew that anyway
