Problem After New Starter Motor

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just had the starter motor changed on 2005 Sportka. Have noticed now that when the car is left for a couple of days, when I start it the trip meter resets, and the a buzzing sound is heard as if the battery has been disconnected. This does not happen if I start the car soon after stopping it and it did not happen until the starter was replaced - any suggestions. Thanks.

Loose connection on the starter / battery circuit by the sounds of it

Take it back to the garage that did the work and get them to do a proper job.

Typical, thats why most of the guys on here do our own repairs - you cant trust any garage these days , they are all a bunch of thieving , lying conmen!
