Possible to switch out 4500 rds eon for 6006?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to switch out the 4500 rds eon radio in my '04 MK6 for for the 6006 (in the same 3 section style)? Or is it not compatible?

I want to fit an aux cable but with the 4500 this doesn't appear possible.

Should just be plug and play if you have the radio code

Old thread I know, but did you ever do this and if so, did you fit an aux cable to that? Everything I'm reading suggests it isn't possible, but there is an additional connector which nobody seems to know anything about.
