I have a 1.4tdci and my dipstick has a kind of spiral in it midway up which leads me to think it's not the right one for my car. 

Upon looking for a replacement on line all I can find is the petrol models... Can someone please tell me if the diesel and petrol fusions share the same dipstick?

Hi Joe

The Dipsticks were snapping due to the shape and design and dropping into the Sump

The original Dipstick is not available now

All 3 items need to be replaced unfortunately

Wow I wasn't expecting to have to replace the tubes as well. 

 

Please can I ask why they were modified? And what would happen if I just got only the dipstick and not the tubes?
