johnsto34
Hello, This is my first post on this forum so please be nice. Its on behalf of my Dad actually who has gone and lost all (and i mean ALL) the keys to his 2002 Fiesta Hatchback 1.3 Finesse. I was wondering what (if anything) we can do about this. We don't obviously have any keys to program from and we've bought a blank key with no transponder than thankfully opens the drivers door but thats about it Do we need to go back to the dealer for this or can we program a new key with transponder from the car (using laptop and ODB2 connection?) Any help would be much much appreciated. Thanks Lee
Stoney871
Your car will need sorting out by an auto locksmith.
Sportvan
If you have got the key cut and can gain entry you are halfway there you now need either a good locksmith with key programming software or a trip to ford to get the key programmed to the car.. If you can get 3-4 keys an program them to the car, then hold on to two yourself. Then, if your dad looses them aging you can use your 2keys to add another to the vehicle with out a trip to ford/locksmith.
