lewisG95
Hi Just wondering if any one has had this problem before. There is something pulling 18 amps from my battery when the car is turned off. I have changed the common culprits I.e the battery and alternator and I have checked all the fuses. Any help would be great Thanks Sent from my HTC One X using Ford OC mobile app
frund
18 amps would burn out your wireing. Or blow a fuse.

DieselPig
So you disconnect the battery and connect the ammeter from the battery to the positive lead and measure 18A?
lewisG95
I disconnect the earth and put the amp meter on the earth and negative terminal. Sent from my HTC One X using Ford OC mobile app

iantt
18amps is a lot of current flow, I take it if you leave battery connected overnight , the following morning its dead flat ?
