Hi from long time lurker new Ford owner 

Just put my money down on a fiesta zetec s 140 in impact blue.  Really close choice between the fiesta and a suzuki swift sport which was a hoot to drive but less refined. Can't wait to get it tbh.

Probably a daft question but do you have to take it easy with these from new, do they need breaking in slowly?  Or can I put my foot down straight away :)

    Sounds like a nice car man, well done :smile: I've always liked the idea of the 140ps motor in the ZS model, rather than the black/red editions... I'm not keen on red Fiestas and the black edition has a serious lipstick problem:wink3:

    As with any new car, I'd take it easy for at least the first thousand (maybe even two thousand) miles... I'm no expert but better safe than sorry!
