Pleased to say that my Dad is finally joining the Ford fold. He's agreed to a Fiesta Zetec S 140PS in magnetic. We only went there for a test drive and he ended up buying the car, lol. I got a chance to test drive and what a great little car, pocket rocket I keep calling it. It's the perfect balance of performance and liveability, not as brutal as the ST but still very special and a perfectly balanced suspension, taught without being crashy. He's due to pick it up next Saturday so I'll post more pics in due course. :)

I told my G/F about an hour ago I had decided to keep my White ZS 125 but every time I see another pix of a Magnetic it gets me wavering and thinking about changing my mind 

Seeing more pixs next week might just make me crack, lol

Cracking car mate! I'd like to test drive one of these just to see how much of a difference the 140 is over the 125.

It has slightly more torque as well and would be really rapid with the Superchips Bluefin 

Only 10Nm more torque, but the biggest difference is the tweaked gear ratios (via a different ratio diff), so in gear performance is better.

Not planning anything performance, but going to try and fit the complete ambient lighting system over the coming months, gloss black grab handles, an engine cover and possibly sill plates.

So it has shorter gear ratios than the 125 ? 

Yes sort of. The gearbox ratios are the same, but the diff has a different ratio, which has the effect of shortening all the gear ratios.

So quicker 0-60 and better response in gear as they are not as tall/long.

It's a rare beast the ZS in Magnetic as I'm looking out for one in and around the Bristol area but have not seen one yet

I would have got mine in that colour if it wasn't deep impact blue! Excellent choice and he will love it!

A couple of weeks ago, im sure they had a ZS in magnetic as a demo at Chipping Sodbury motor company.

That's not far from me, in fact I nearly bought my Fiesta from them 2yrs ago 

I'll email them and see what they say
