Fiesta 2008 MK6 rear wiper & boot release not working (from fob or button in car).

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've just got a 2008 MK6 Fiesta.

On further inspection I've noticed that the rear wiper isn't working, water comes out of the jet but the wiper doesn't move. I'm going to check the fuse later, is there anything else I could check to narrow the problem down?

Also the boot doesn't open using the button on the fob or in the car. I can hear a noise when I click the fob button but boot won't open. I plan to remove the boot trim to view the release mechanism but what should I look for?

Thanks in advance

Wayne.

Check the wiring between the roof and boot inside the rubber conduit.

hi there, have a look here may help.

Cheers,

I checked the fuse for the rear wiper and it was okay.

I'll hopefully get a chance to look at the suggestions over weekend.

Thanks
