Brake fluid change?

Featured Replies

Going to be having a major service on 14th.  However my brake pedal is fairly spongy, would you recommend a fluid change or just bleed the brakes?

Thanks

To be honest I couldn't say. I bought the car at 3 years old, had service and new brakes last year, and due a service now a major one.

I don't think it's even in the history to be honest. Would you recommend changing the fluid to be on the safe side?

It should have been done in 2013 and 2015, so should have been done last year in theory.

If you have no idea when it was last done and brakes feel spongy I'd definitely get it done.

Great thanks. Got a very strange suspicion it hasn't been touched. Thanks for that. Get that sorted.
