Hi there,

I have been looking for a new car, and I think i have decided to go with the zetec s red edition. 

I have been looking at some nearly new 1-2 year old and around 10k or less miles. Most of them are around £10500 - £12000. 

Do these cars have any known problems or faults I should look out for?

    It that age it will all be under warranty anyway so buy away and enjoy

    Only fault is that it is an awesome little car you'll want to keep driving and may get "stuck" in :P

    I'm onto my second in a weeks time, great little cars! Frugal and comfortable when you want them to be, with a bit of a snarl and some oomph when you want to have fun. Mine is a 15 plate with 11,000 motorway miles, will be on sale in Essex (Grays) from next week - a great example too :) From mid-2015 onwards (included on mine) they have the LED DRLs which definitely add to the look!

    I have  a back edition , same car but black , mines is getting a new turbo at only 2300miles other than that cant fault it
