Hi, I recently got some gel badges for my mk6 Fiesta and I need some advice on how to fit them onto the emblems on the front and rear, any ideas?

Warm the badges with a hairdryer/heat gun and then warm the back of the overlays where the  adhesive is and then press down to overlays firmly onto the badge, then add a bit more heat to the edges of the overlay and press firmly all the way around to make sure it's stuck down properly and then you're done.

What if I don't have a heat gun or hairdryer?

You need to warm the adhesive to get it to bond strongly. If you don't have a hairdryer id get a cheap one for a fiver or borrow a female family members. It is better to do that than to stick it on cold and loose the overlays then have to buy new ones. I didn't put my first ones on warm and they started coming away just on their own.. Put the second set on properly and theyve withstood a pressure washer on them no problem.

I didn't use any heat on mine, they're still stuck on 9 months later...  I did put them on in summer though when the outside temp was a bit warmer.  They survive the pressure washer better than my pressed number plates have!  Also make sure you get the standard badges really clean with the alcohol wipes first!

Just fitted mine yesterday. Not the best of pictures but they look great and set the wheels off nicely!
