Which pressure washer to buy?

Featured Replies

Went to Argos yesterday and got an 1800w 130bar nilfisk for £115 in the sale.

Comes with a detergent bottle bit don't know how this compares to a proper foam lance...probably not at all!

3 year warranty.is nice  too.

Detergent bottle is worthy of eBay or the bin :)

Whats a good snow foam lance that's also cheap then? I resent paying £40 for a plastic bottle lol, I don't want Chinese  rubbish either for a tenner!

Hate to say, but they're all made in China & rebranded in the UK

Snowfoamyourcar - Facebook £20

Or monstershine car care

All the others are the same stuff at double the price

Just make sure the nozzle is metal parts can't beat good quality for a decent foam

See my parts for sale on thread "philf1s Spirit Blue Fiesta ST180 parts for sale"

My pressure washer is a Hozelock, can't find a model number for it but it's only small and was probably cheap would it be suitable for snow foaming or should I invest in a better one?

There's a Bosch on Amazon for under fifty quid.

Can't see it being any worse than my cheap karcher. Along as you can get a foam lance for it I don't see why not

May give it a go then, I'm just unsure what adapter it will be as none I see are called Hozelock.

May be worth sending a picture of the connectors put to some places

Think I'll do that, thanks for the help.

No problem buddy

i would recommend the 2K it works great for me and does the job also has a great snow foam accessory for only £20 in halfords atm as part of the 3 for 2 deal and -15% from FOC :)

The karcher foam attachments are pathetic compared to a Proper lance which again is £20 all year round. It has metal fittings instead of plastic rubbish.

The equivelent Nilfisk internals are metal too compared to the plastic karcher

Nilfisk Titan is down to £89 in Argos so think I'll go for that, where can I get a good snowfoam lance to go with it though? Also worried about how it might connect up as I don't have an outside tap and the taps in the house are an odd shape and I'm yet to find a tap connector that works.

I used one of these on our kitchen tap before I fitted an outside tap.

B&Q sell an outside tap kit that's easy to fit £10-15.

Or if your house is fairly new it may be already set up for a dishwasher and have the valve under the sink which you can put a normal tap connector on.

Get a water butt or something

I have the Nilfisk Titan. Get in touch with monstershine for a great lance at a very good price!
