Hi fellow members

i have a 2007 Mondeo titanium X and decided I wanted to upgrade my ford Sony unit to DAB.

I have bought exactly the same unit but DAB. Looking at connections on the rear the only difference to my old unit is above the white aerial is a black socket if that is what it is called (attached a pic) is this for a dab aerial? And will one that you can put on your windscreen be suitable?

i bought a windscreen mounted aerial but seemed quite a tight fit to connect the plug to the black socket but the display also says no dab stations found and also says block with varied different letters and numbers?

sorry for going into great detail but am I doing something wrong?
