Good day members

I own  a Galaxy Ghia TDI 115 Auto 1896 cc that was previously my company car so in essence I have driven it since day one in 2002.

I have racked up 210,000 miles in that time but sadly I have been informed by my local dealership that the engine “is shot”

To date they have completed a compression tests and  the next stage would be to remove the sump and the rocker cover to check if any fault was apparent there. If there was no fault apparent then they we would need to continue stripping down the engine which would mean further costs and may result in requiring a new engine anyway.

From my perspective I would like to retain my car for at least another 12 months before I upsec to a newer Galaxy model.

Please can someone recommend a garage in the Leicestershire area that would be able to facilitate  even a temporary fix for the next 12 months?

Thanks in Advance
