Morning All,

Just thought I would share my experience with a 65 plate Golf R I had the pleasure of driving for a few days whilst the driver was out of the country...

What can I say... I currently drive a 1.0 EcoBoost 125bhp Focus and a lady at work asks if I want to borrow it while she is away...

I finish work with somewhat of a grin on my face, I get in and I feel I have been conned lol the inside is boring and uneventful with only 1 R badge on the steering wheel no footwell lighting etc... So I turn the engine on which is a key not a push start... Then the grin comes back... The Engine is superb! all 300bhp of it, I had a stage 1 MK2 Leon FR which was 240bhp but this was something else...

So I took it steady trying not to kill myself but yet again everything seems very civilised then you realise you are at the speed limit *cough cough*...

Did a long run up to Market Rasen which is about 40 minutes north of Lincoln and you know what I wouldn't buy one...

Engine is great but everything else is just so Dull and German lol 

Giving the car back today to it's owner and sort of happy knowing I will be back in the Focus tonight...

Anyone else had the same experience?
