Last time round I held out for the new 15 plate, this time round I just wanted the car and couldn't care less about the plate changes in just over 2 weeks time. I asked this on another forum as it really got me thinking so......?

    Max I would have waited was a week, but as it is, the car didn't arrive at the dealers till end of October.

    Can't say it bothers me, just wanted my hands on the car, so may have not even waited a week in the end, lol.

    Looking at my V5, it was registered in early May, two months into the "06" plate

    But then I wasn't it's first keeper, it was a leased company car then, whose user/keeper had probably hit either their mileage or age quota, with their previous one
