staceyanne
Hey guys Need a bit of help recently got a 2016 1.0 red edition festia and I'm loving the car though I have noticed something and before I take it up to ford just checking. When the car was for sale it said in the description it had illuminated cup holders and glove box. Now the car has the red lighting in the cup holders, the glove box though I've checked in the glovebox and there is no insert for a bulb inside it, but the bit above the glove box there is fitment and a wire for a light to be fitted. So I'm guessing they have just forgot to fit it. Does anyone know for sure before I head up to ford? Just it did said it had a illuminated glovebox ??? Thankyou in advance 😊😊😊
MarksST
I don't think the Zetec S (which is what a red edition is based on ) has the strip as standard, the wiring a there so you could buy and fit it yourself.
jmurray01
Given that cars (even basic models) have had illuminated gloveboxes since the 80s, I think it is rather bad of Ford to sell a 2016 vehicle without fitting a bulb!
Joss max
Hello and welcome stacey You could always use Ford Etis to check if it's actually included. https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do Just enter your cars registration in the Registration Lookup: box. Then just check through the list
