Fiesta 125ps 1l ecoboost zetec s Airfilter or induction kit

Featured Replies

Hello I've Recently purchased a fiesta zetec s 1l ecoboost and I'm going to begin modding the car myself, I'm looking for opinions on whether or not I should get a panel filter or induction kit for it?, seen many mixed reviews online about how some induction kits have pull in hot air and disappointed?

any views and comments/ideas will be helpful

Thankyou

I have been looking at induction kits also, from what I have found the AS (auto specialist) there induction kit has a heat shield that has an 80mm cold feed pipe directly to the filter. I'm gonna go for this one so will hopefully have it soon and let you know.

Some of the generic induction kits would probably fit - just check the diameter of the MAF etc.

You would need to buy a MAF tube as the MAF sensor housing is part of the airbox lid on the mk7/7.5, can get them from J1 automotive.

I have a K&N panel filter in the stock air box, which I've modified with an extra lower intake hose like the Mountune box. It has reduced intake air temperature by around 15 degrees C in the hot Thai weather compared to the stock intake. Colder is better, so ensure any induction system you get isn't taking in hot engine bay air.

The ITG Induction Kit is the best on the market

Hi ThaiFiesta,

Could you show how you enlarged the opening from the air box? Thx!
