Fuses

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have taken out some fuses in the interior fuse box to try and trace an electrical fault.i took off battery lead just in case I cause another short.now I have put back battery lead, now car won't start it is push button start. Is there a fuse for the ignition that I might have put back in the wrong place. Help please ken

Oh dear ken strikes again!

Ken I can't strongly enough recommend you let the pros deal with your car electrics. I know you want to try doing things your self, and I commend you for that.

However there comes a time to stop, and get pro help. before you do permanent damage to your car, or worst still, Your good self.

When working with electrics and fuses, you need to be methodical in your approach. Like have access to a diagram of the electrics/fuse box so that you know which fuse does what and where it goes.

Only remove 1 fuse at a time. Do the test and then replace the fuse for where you removed it.

Now,  what was it you where trying to do?  Which fuse box did you remove the fuses from? Which fuses where they ? !0 amp 20 amp ? what car is it? Focus or fiesta Mondeo?

Provide as much information as possible for us to even try and help you.
