DPF delete MoT failure ?

Featured Replies

in case people don't know, anyone in the world can look up all of the advisories and failures for about the last 10 years on UK cars if you have the reg. no. and make. So when you see a car for sale and someone has not concealed the reg no in the pics you can have a look.

In my experience there is no consistency, some MOT testers it is like they feel compelled to put something on there where there really is no need to mention it - like a number plate that has deteriorated but not bad enough to be misread - why mention it?  it is not like a safety item where the owner ought to be warned eg. a tyre just on the limit.

It's worth noting that system doesn't show MOTs where plate number was changed, but you can get the original plate number (from v5 I think) and check that too.

It also won't show records before some date - I think it's ~2007.

No offence but from what I've seen elsewhere it's a good way to end up arrested

It's something that needs to be read in great detail, not giving your name, date of birth etc. When asked do you understand you say no as you don't stand under any statue laws or acts and so on.. It's quite interesting and worth a read but it's quite in depth.

The Scottish Sovereign followers are naive at best but bordering on anarchy at worst.

Denying the legitimacy of laws is narrow minded.

You can't live in a country and deny it's laws but then expect protection from lawbreakers when something happens to you.

Pure hypocrisy if you ask me.

Police forces can only operate with the support and consent of the populace, take that away from us and stand by for chaos and riots.

I have been involved with riot control operations and there's nothing worse than facing a thug that is fully intent on smashing your face in for no other reason than they choose to do so.

We are the thin blue line between order and anarchy and Scottish Sovereign just make it that more difficult for us.

*Nuff said on that subject*

We can start a thread on it some other time lol. For now I'm just looking forward to ripping into an Audi a3 wheel bearing in a few hours
