I've got a Ctek MXS10, which is an excellent charger, vastly superior to anything I've used prior.  It was a recommendation from stef123, or the Ctek brand was, when I was looking for something that could do both Foci and the 150Ah leisure battery.

Among other things, with it's reconditioning program I've resurrected two "completely dead waiting to go to the recycling centre" batteries.  This wasn't so much a deliberate thing I just wondered how good the reconditioning program was and I happened to have a pair of dead batteries to use a s subjects:laugh:

The float charge is 10A max at 13.6v,

I leave my Mk2 Focus permanently connected when I'm not using it to keep the battery at 100%.  The drain the Mk2 battery is greater than the Mk1.

On both Foci, I've installed the Ctek M8 comfort indicator on each battery, which is not only easier to attach the charger but also gives a visual indication of the state of charge. At some point, I might add a panel indicator. So I can see what the battery is doing from inside the the car rather than under the bonnet

As above really, I can also highly recommend a ctek charger. I have 2 in my arsenal of tools. A small one for my motorbike and a big one for car and caravan batteries.
