I have M.AV files to open,works on phone but when i put SD card into PC i cant find a player to support it,tried windows media and VLC player.

Its from a CCTV camera that records onto SD cards.

hi i use this from swann view support site you should be able to download it there

failing that you can convert the files with this program wondershare video converter free

I will try and search that one,i don't want to convert them as there are loads and just want to put them onto PC and few some of them.

Are you sure it is a M.AV file or is it a MAV file ?

100% it says.....M.AV as its from a IP cctv camera and says a lot of files are in this format from IP cctv.

Downloaded this and when i open it and press the + and try to find the file it didn't see the file  so wrote the file name in the search and

got the file but would not view it as just stays blank,sure this aint the same for everyone with these M.AV video files off i.p cameras.

It saves it to a SD card so put card into PC and nothing will play it,i can play the files on the phone/tablet going through the app and can save file to pc

but cant play through PC.

Solved it with VLC player and going into the setting and changing them,here is the link.

I tried that but it would not find the file like it wasn't there,opened it and hit the + and searched for the file but wasn't there.
