Is this a problem??

Featured Replies

Not a big problem but worth finding out.

When I have my headlights on when idling if I press my window switch or turn on the radio or even turn hazards on. My idle speed drops slightly and headlights dim slightly too.

battery and alternator are fine as far as I'm aware. Like I said nothing major just curious too know if anyone's else's does this.

thanks, Danny.

There is extra load on the electrical system so yes it will sometimes drop the idle slightly, as long as the alternator is putting out about 13v then its fine.
