Featured Replies

yet another post (again)!!

so I put a post up regarding my heating.

I got my thermostat replaced as there was apparently a slight coolant leak from there,

got the car home and noticed coolant had dropped and no heating. I ran the car to about 2500-3000rpm and noticed coolant leaking from 2 places.

bare in mind the garage done a coolant flush and replacement. The leaks wernt there beforehand.

taking it back on Monday but were do I stand with it.

thanks guys,

Danny

Just to give the conclusion,

I took it the garage who done the thermostat, they told me it had a faulty thermostat gasket (which was apparently replaced 2 days prior.

But, all sorted now free of charge 😉

Thanks for the update. I'm glad you got the required result. If you're happy to, you could maybe review the garage on a relevant website, as most people really want to know what they & the garage can do when it all goes wrong.

I will leave a review Martin I'm just waiting a little while. All seems fine and I have a 2 year warranty on parts if no issues arise after a week or so ill be sure to review them highly.

Thanks,

Danny.
