N/S rear banging + back end kicks out

Featured Replies

My car bangs when going over bumps. The noise is coming from the N/S/R.

Also when I hit a large pothole the car seems to kick out a little bit on the back end.

Are these the symptoms of faulty shocks? or 1 faulty shock?

Thanks

Are those shocks wet with oil? Replace both.

Sounds like the dampers aren't actually damping anymore - replace them with some new springs, doesn't cost much and worth sorting out before very icy/snowy weather.
