Featured Replies

Hi all,

does anybody know what are the (defogger lines) for, on the rear side windows. It seems that they does not work or they are not heating elements at all.2- small window right.jpg

I got caught out by this one as well.  Its the radio antenna!!

Don't expect it to clear the window!

Ha! Great undocumented feature.... heated rear side windows :-)

Yes confirmed by Ford garage it is an antenna.

Every day is a learning day. I also assumed the, what appeared to be, elements on the side windows were for heated windows. I note that it appears a couple of the elements on the rear window don't seem to be working. Is this true?

My 2010 (facelift model) has the same problem and has had this problem since I bought the car when it was under 3 years old. Is this a common problem does anybody know.

Thanks for your help.

It's antenna elements, not heater elements
