Hi I'm helping a friend with their Galaxy auto with  either tcm fault or the auto box is shot.      When driving the eml light is on and the vehicle is stuck in second gear. it can be shifted manually from 1st to 2nd but wont go into 3rd or drive, I plug it into my laptop with forscan the fault code is 0700 .

Another tcm module has been plugged into the vehicle but all that gave us was a load more fault codes no gear display or rev counter. but still will only drive in second gear.

could all the new fault codes be stored on the replacement tcm from the donor vehicle ? and is there a way to clear them and configure the module .

Have checked the wiring and all seems ok any ideas are greatly appreciated  :smile:
