Titanium X Rear Power Socket

Featured Replies

I have just bought a 2008 Titanium X hatchback and need a 12v power socket in the boot. I see from the Haynes (book of lies) that there may be the wiring for such a socket. Dose anyone know if it exists in the hatchback or is it just in the estate version? If it is there, dose any one know which side panel it is hidden under in the boot space? My final question is if it dose exist is it ignition operated?

Hope someone out there can help,

Andy C.

There is a spare 12v live wire taped up behind the right hand side boot panel.
It's permanent live, you just need to run your own earth to any body bolt or screw.

One further question, Do you know what color it is?

It is an orange wire and very obvious.

It's a cable with a single female bayonet connector on the end and it is taped back on itself right in the corner of the boot.

Finally got a chance to try to fit the power socket, pilled out the carpet like panel on both sides but could not find the orange wire. found the reverse park module and followed the wiring loom back but could not find it. is there another live wire there that I could use?
