Problem with fiesta 2014 1.5tdci

Featured Replies

Hi,

New to this forum, if I have posted on the wrong section please accept my apologies.

Woke up one Monday, and went to check the engine and see water coolent level.

Straight away saw the water coolent was all black, so I opened the lid and looks like engine oil inside the coolent. Got the dip stick out and there was no engine oil inside.

Anyone know why this has happened or what needs to be done?

Still within warranty so take it back to the dealers.

Sounds like headgasket or oil cooler failed, either way not really acceptable for 2 years old!

That's for replying Tomsfocus

Is this covered under the warranty?

Thanks***

Yeah it should be, it's not a 'wear and tear' sort of thing.

Only problem might be if you haven't had it serviced on time.
